san asked: I recently bought a VGA to composite cable as my Mac has a VGA and my tv has Composite inlet. I connected it and tried multiple times with different resolution on my mac and wasnt able to connect it. any suggestions?

this is the way it works on windows:
1. Plug in the VGA composite into the back of the tv an into the computer.
2. Press F8 continuously while the comp is comming on. (i do not know exactly when you have to press f8.
3. Next click vga mode.
4. keep pressing the source button on the remote so that you go from component 1 to … until it reaches one that works with ur comp…

It would help if you gave more details. Like what is the TV doing or not doing? Describe what you see. Make sure you have the frequency set at 60 Hz for the US.
