I have a sanyo TV that I bought last year. I just got cable installed in my room. I don’t have a box. I’m plugging the cable directly into the back of the TV. When I do a channel scan it says its not receiving a signal even though it’s securely screwed in the back. I’ve tried the Cable Antenna option as well as UHF. There is a spot on the menu that says channel scan memory. It says Ch 3 DELETED. I can make it say ADDED as well. Is there something I’m doing wrong or did the guy install the cable wrong?

Do i need to buy speaker wire or anything else to connect the two devices or is the TV the wrong place to hook up the speakers in the first place? My TV is model#: DS24425 (Sanyo Flat screen, bought from WalMart a little over a year ago). I haven’t yet bought the speakers, but if I were to venture that route to get better-sounding audio, I’d like to know if it’d be a wate of $ or not, since I’m on a “fixed” income…~Jonathan

Occasionally for no rhymn or reason it will just turn off. It is a digital tv that needs no digital box like for analog tv. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

There is NO control panel menu only gets to color changes and game modes. i can not figure out how to get this tv to change to input. If there is a universal remote that works best, I am willing to get it but so far everything I have read says Sanyo tv’s do not work well with universal remotes. HELP!

the number 3 came up in lower right screen and won’t go away. there is satellite service to tv but has been fine for months. tv is controlled with satellite service remote so original tv remote won’t work anymore. is there a way to get the 3 off the screen?
its not a plasma tv. its a regular color tv. when you bring up the volume control the 3 disappears but comes back as soon as the volume bar goes off screen.

the audio video input still works but when you plug a playstation into it, it will make a noise and the picture will be all messed up and you have to tape the chord to make it get back to normal. if you stomp on the ground near the tv or drop something on the ground the picture will get all messed up and the sound will come up again

its not the playstation because it works fine on my other tv

how do i fix this?
